Those who knew me on iMore know I always procrastinated about upgrading to the new model, currently sporting a iPhone 15 Pro Titanium and the device has performed perfectly. I am not a gamer or watch movies on my device and mainly use mine for social media, emails and most importantly, a phone. Being I have been semi-retired since 2107 and live on a fixed income, all new purchases have to be valued added to me at this stage in my life. The downside is, if I go to the local Apple store and pick up the new 16 Pro and start playing with it, I know I will end up buying one, so for now, I avoid the Apple store and continue using my 15 Pro model.

Just wait 10 months for the 17 pro.

I have the 15 Pro Max and I didn’t upgrade. If I had the 14 Pro or earlier I would have for Apple Intelligence, not because I think it’s super useful but because I think it will get there. I’m hoping to hold on to my 15 Pro Max for a while longer as it’s an incredibly solid phone.

I find myself gravitating back to my 15 Pro - the 5x on 16 Pro is ok but don't really use it, the Camera Control only gets used to open the native camera so far, and the 15 Pro just has better feel in the hand...

Just stick with the 15 pro and don't get emotionally attached to new devices. You identified your stance on not upgrading to the new 16 pro already so there is no need to fall back on your word.

I have a 16 Pro coming from a 14 Pro and I felt like that was a bit of an extravagance but I love it. I would not upgrade from a 15 Pro--you've got a solid phone.

That being said, I can't even imagine what an iPhone would be like past the year 2107. ;)

Absolutely NO reasons to switch from a 15 to a 16.
With Apple, and with every other manufacturer I would say, you have to wait AT LEAST a generation for the upgrade to have a little sense.
