Hi all, hoping you can help me resolve this issue. I have an iPhone 5 and iPad 4 both running 7.0.2 and a MBP running 10.8.5. All are contacted into iMessage with my phone number and Apple ID. I added a number (which is on an iPhone) to my blocked contact list a few days after iOS 7 was released. Since then, I haven't received any calls or texts on either of my mobile devices but I am still receiving iMessages from the blocked contact on my MBP.

Any work-arounds on this?

My guess is that it's a iOS-only thing, so only the iPhone/iPad will block the call or message when it receives it. But the Mac doesn't know to block it.

Wonder if the Mavericks DP supports it. I'll have to test when I get home. If not, it should.

Sounds like it's not a supported feature on OS X at the moment. Mavericks hasn't added this yet.
