my friend bought his phone 20 min before me on apple.com, but mine says its in alaska but his still says prepared for shipping, we both have deliver dates of 24th. why wasn't his updated yet? anyone else getting their's on the 24th but have no tracking yet?

FedEx planes fly very fast. No worries. They overnight packages all the time from China to the US. It's what they do.
My iPad was shipped the day before the release (3g model), and I had it by 10:15am the next day. Don't sweat it.
Mine went from "not yet shipped" to "prepared for shipment" back to "not yet shipped". I'm really worried. I hope what they said is right. I don't know what happened.
