Search a little harder and you'll realize that Apple hasn't announced that info yet. Pre-orders begin next Tuesday, so either this friday or Monday Apple will send out a press release detailing all the info we need to know.

I'm on the "notification" list so I guess I will have to wait for that information.

Being able to wait patiently is a virtue, but it IS the hardest part.

I'm hoping for a 0001 EDT start since I'm in PDT and go to the gym at 2200.

Who cares?

Im sure if you order anytime on the 15th you will get your phone on the 24th.

Yeah, but some of us have to go to work on the 15th, and, in my case, I might be in the air flying coast-to-coast. Knowing that I could do it before I leave would be a good thing...though I am flying a Wifi equipped aircraft, it is not always functional.

Then why don't you preorder on the 16th or 17th or 18th or 19th or 20th or 21st or 22nd or the 23rd?

Oh, gee...that never occurred to me.

Now that we know that you know how to count, what other talents will you impress us with?

What I most want to know is whether launch will be morning or evening. I will be catching a flight on the evening of the 24th and need to know if I should preorder for pick up at home or on the east coast.

morning. the iPhone 3GS went on sale at 7am last year for those who reserved one to pick-up at an Apple Store and 10 am for those who didn't reserve (walk-ins)

even though Apple hasn't announced the final details for the launch this year, AT&T is saying it will be the same as last year.

I hope that is the case. Do they usually announce pick up time when they discuss preorder details? I'm excited about this launch and can't wait to pick up.

I don't know what you're talking about... but I went last year as a walk-in and they took us at 7am.

I read this on MacRumors from last year.
On launch day (June 19th), two lines will form at 7 a.m. local time at the AT&T retail stores. Customers who had pre-ordered from retail stores will be able to pick up their iPhone 3GSs at that time, while customers who wish to purchase that day will have to wait until the store opens at normal business hours.
