Hi!

I'm running iOS 8.0.2 on my iPhone 6 Plus. I've turned "app updating in background" off in Settings, but I was listening to Youtube last night and fell asleep. When I woke up it had drained about 15% of my battery. I checked the batteri usage stats and it said "60% Youtube - background activity".

Is this a bug? I have turned everything off but it still uses the app in the background.

Well, you were listening to it so it was running in the background in some fashion, right?

The video was running on screen. When it finishes, it dims the screen for about 3 seconds and then turns off. I assume that the app then "turns off".
