Mainly note 8.0

March maybe?

Maybe, at MWC in Barcelona, Samsung will introduce an updated Note 8. With their history, it's suprising that they haven't done it, as yet. Hopefully, even though they say that they're going to release less devices, they still release more Note tablets. On an 8" Note, FHD would look great. We'll see...

Lets hope so..surely they aren't getting rid of it. Was expecting the upgrade last year.

I hope they have decided not to just stay with the S pro line.

I hope Samsung delivers a dual-OS, Windows x86-64 and Android, Note to add versatility and value.

MWC mate, their were a few devices at CES but hardly the flood of mobile gadgets you expect to be launched every year, I would say MWC this year will be huge for announcements weather they are good or bad like what devices are being scrapped and what are being refreshed. I'm hopeful Sony don't sell their Xperia department! Would like to see a Z4 Compact phone.

I hope they finally see the light of a 4:3 aspect ratio for the [hopefully] new Note 8. Might just replace my retina mini.

I'm probably going to go for Samsung as my next tablet. Although I love my iPad mini I still prefer android over everything.

Sadly I won't be buying a Samsung tablet ever again due to a seeming lack of software support from Samsung. Madness 2014 devices still lingering on outdated launchers and still on 4.4.2

I like the Note Pro 12.2 but it feels to me like Samsung don't.

I will be going back to IPad next time, at least I will know for certain I'll get software updates for a few years - rather than have a device sat in a software cryogenic sleep.

I think the note pro will get lollipop eventually but I don't expect it to get anymore updates. Based on Samsung's past history with tablets, they all seem to get one major OS update and then are left behind. The iPad is definitely better supported.

Ipad is better for updates no doubt but really updated software doesn't mean much to me..it's what it does matters more to me

Very true. Especially with touch wiz being skinned lollipop means little to me as the version we get wont resemble lollipop much anyway. I'm happy with my tab pro as it is now and I'd rather Google not interfere too much. Do you remember the videos from CES last year? The magazine UX looked really cool with a lot of features. Then Google and Samsung had that chat where Google laid down some ground rules and what we got was a really diluted and tame version of magazine UX. I've never had a problem with touch wiz and I don't want it to be more like stock android.

It's a shame Samsung abandoned windows, they made some great windows tablets with Wacom digitizers. Android would be nice but not necessary for me, I could never go back to android/ios tablets after having a windows one.

I don't mean to get too off topic here, but I am looking for a recommendation. I have a Samsung Galaxy tab S 8.4 with the Samsung case for it only been used for a couple months (I have the boxes and packaging for everything and it's mint), but I have all apple products outside of it. I am trying to trade for an iPad mini retina 2 or preferably 3. what iPad mini do you guys think is a reasonable swap in my situation?

The mini 2 or 3. They are virtually the same save for touch ID. If your device is relatively new then I'd go for an ipad with a similar life span.

I ended up getting someone to pay 375 for it, so I just went from selling it to the Apple Store and picked up a new retina mini 2 and smart case. We'll see if I find having both iPad sizes will be useful to me.

You either love or hate TW...but from all the latest reports TW will be much improved for the S6.

Personally due to using Nova I've never had a problem with TW either. Certainly hasn't put me off using Samsung and never will. Note 4 is awesome best phone I've ever had. Does everything you could want.

I'm widget mad so thats why I could never leave the note line.
