My fiance is. But she's not really the tech/iphone buff that I am so she doesn't really mind. I don't know if I could wait this long....

I gave up on it. I went too long without an iPhone. I haven't done that since, well, before there was an iPhone. (Sold my 3GS in May for $410)

I've never owned an iPhone, or a smartphone at all for that matter, so I figured if I've held out this long I can wait a few more months.
I wanted to wait and did wait for over a month. All for nothing as I ended up getting the black one. I'll probably buy the white when it comes out and take a hit when I resell the black but I just couldn't wait any longer. My iPhone 3G was falling apart.
I hope when the white one comes out that it has no problems like with the 3g or 3gs did with turning colors.
Me personally I'm getting a black one. Color of the phone does not matter to me because the case will cover it anyway.

Got mine first week of this month didn't care anymore I wanted white but I'm not going to wait anymore..the moment apple said later this year I said ah the heck with it went to my local AT&T and grab the last 32GB iPhone 4 lucky me
If by waiting you mean my girlfriend is waiting and then we'll switch when it does come out yes. In the mean time, I'll be enjoying my 32GB Black iPhone 4 Jailbroken
I have to agree with this statement. After December of last year, everyone who posted "Should I get 3GS NAU ER WATE?!?" I told them just to wait it out for the new iPhone.
Now that I think about it.
The longer the wait for the white iphone. The better possibility it'll come with an update. More storage, etc..

Still waiting here. It would be sweet if they up the capacity to 64GB. That is really what I wanted in a new iPhone.
I too am waiting for the white... iPhone 5 next June!
I feel bad for you guys, especially those who aren't even cheating with the black one. Really hope your patience pays off!
Their patience will pay off in the fact they'll have the white iPhone. But if they're thinking it will include more storage or other features not available on the black model they're kidding themselves.
The other problem will come when the iPhone 5 is released. The longer the wait for the white phone, the greater the chance they won't be able to get full subsidized price when the iPhone 5 comes out.
Now some people won't care, but you know there will be plenty of threads "it's not fair I can't get the new iPhone 5"
But for those waiting and don't care about needing the newest phone next June, I hope you don't have to wait too much longer.
I'm still waiting too. My self conscious won't let me buy a black iPhone 4. I'm sticking with the iPhone (1st Generation) for now. I'm still kind of disappointed that I can't send a pictures message or video record but I'll be able to do that sooner or later. I hope they just release the white iPhone 4 @ the upcoming iPod event.
