Hi, I have two scanned images which overlap and I would like to stitch them together to produce one image so that I have a single jpg of the original which was too wide to scan on an A4 scanner.

Is there a simple app that would do this or need I get a proper photo editor?

I only have iPhoto at present which can manage all my simple picture handling needs.

I am still running Mavericks.

It depends completely on your personal definition of "simple".

You might give Hugin a try. It can do the job, the price is right, it's available for Mavericks, and as these things go is relatively easy to grasp.

Thanks dwig, I will see what I can do with that.
