(STM Small Loft for 13,3" MacBook - Choc/Orange from Apple.com)

Is this bag a good buy? I'm not used to spending so much on a bag, because I'm not usually so fashion concious :p

I'm just looking to keep a notepad and other papers, maybe a couple of disks and the power cables - as well as my 13.3" macbook of course. It's for uni and travel, so I want something that's easy to carry around.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this bag and if so, is it worth the money? If you have any other suggestions, be sure not to include something with a masssssssive velcro strap, as I don't fancy the whole lecture hall turning around to hear me rip open my bag :p

I have this bag, and I like it.

However it isn't water resistant, and even with both flaps closed the computer is still visible and accesible, and you can just pour water directly into the compartment. Also it doesn't fir much beyond the computer, charger, and maybe one notebook.

So I have 2 bags, the loft when it's nice outside and I have a light load, and then this bag when the weather is wet and I have more stuff.

If I had to choose one bag, it would be the chrome. It costs considerably more, but it's more durable, safe, and comes with a lifetime warranty.

I'm interested in this bag too, but I have never used one of those shoulder bags before, generally preferring to use backpack style bags, so I'm not sure how i would find it.

I have the Small Loft, and I like it a lot. I didn't want something that was going to look like a typical computer bag, and this does not. I also wasn't looking for something that would carry a ton, because that just meant that I would find a bunch of crap to put in it. As it is now, I have enough room for the MacBook, a notebook or reading book, video cable adapters, power cord, couple CDs, a few pens, a wireless mouse.

It's a great little bag.
