stock and weather app for ipad in notification center?

is there a way/cydia app that can display weather and stock info in the ipad's notification center like the iphone? strange the ipad doesn't have those two apps by default

I agree. I don't feel overly compelled to JB my iPad, but customization of the notification center and lock screen would be a primary reason for me to do so.

I'm also looking for a way to do this. My iPad1 is jailbroken, and I searched all over Cydia without finding a solution. Anyone know how to do it?

Intelliscreenx perhaps? I know it displays the weather. You can add custom RSS feeds as well.

The stock iPhone apps made it to the iPad on iOS 4 with jailbreak, they aren't compatible with iOS5 at the moment, but I imagine it'll only be a matter of time.
