Stock apps descriptions are strange, "stock" replaced with "s***k". Why?

If you randomly pick a stock app in the App Store and read the description, you will find that they don't write out the word "stock" in the text but they replace it with "s***k". Does anyone have a clue why they do this?

Is it possible that it was a typo that instead stated "scock"?
