Hi, I have been thinking a lot if it is worth to replace stock IOS apps for notes, reminders, calendar, email, etc.

For example pros for all stock apps are:
- apple support,
- mostly without bugs,
- you know that your data or favorite stock app will survive few years, because they don´t depend on small developer team
- icloud support and computer editing

Cons:
- sometimes boring, lack of features and not best design

What do you think?
I am considering simplenote for notes, Due for reminders, Boxer for email (exchange support) and chrome just because that safari doesn t have data saving.

Pros and cons with any approach really. Mostly only matters what you need and/or want. Some people even go back and forth changing their mind, but there really isn't anything specific that makes one approach better than the other, only setting that might make a difference for you specifically for one reason or another.
