I couldn't find the specs of the Hitachi 160GB HD in the macbook pro 13".

Currently in my older 2007 macbook I put in a 320GB WD WD3200BEVT

I wanted to see if I would lose any performance if i put that HD in the new Macbook Pro. Not sure if the stock macbook pro HD was any faster / better?

Specs for the WD:

cheers.

Stock is most likely 5400 RPM

A 320 GB, 5400 RPM will outperform a 160 GB 5400 RPM due to the larger data density of the 320 GB drive, (Cover more data per revolution)
