I enter some stocks in the stock ticker that comes with OSX. They dont save though(eg, reboot OS X and there not there anymore). What can I do to fix this?

Stock ticker dashboard widget doesnt save stocks

The stock ticker widget is broken in this and several other ways. Maybe some day someone will write us a better one, or figure out what's wrong with this one and fix it.

I'm using a ticker application called Stock Menulet after seeing a recommendation over here. This is a simple, clean app...but it beats the dashboard widget by a mile.
