Stock video playback problem

hi all-

this has happened to me once before not sure how to fix but when i click on the video icon i just get a black screen and it doesnt show my videos or give me the option to playback anything. i restarted the ipad2 but that didnt work and i also closed down all programs that were running in the background to no avail.

How do i get videos to play again?

i had to reset all settings to get it too work.
