Hi all,

I had my MacBook Pro stolen in January, and just received an email from iCloud/Find My iPhone saying it has been turned on. However, when I went into iCloud, it has been locked, Location Services turned off, and renamed as MacBrook Pro de admin...

Has anyone ever had this happen? Is there anything I can do or should I just give up hope?

Thanks :)

Go out with a bat and track the man down.

If location services is turned off, can they still find it through the serial number??

By what, knocking on every door in existence, asking if there's a MBP inside then asking to see it so they can check the serial number? Good luck with that...

Thanks for the snotty comment. My apologies for asking a question.
