I recently had an aquintaince steal my MBP from me while I was loading up after a gig. I filed a report with apple and the police (both no help just flag). I have his #, know his name everything and they seem to be getting NO WHERE. Anyone have any ideas? I know I'm probably f***** b/c I don't have lo-jack or any anti-theft software on my mac. If anyone can help seriously pm or something... Thanks.

Post it to a blog. Then contact local media and tell them your story and watch the police work this butts off. Make sure you give them all this information before porting up to a blog. I you shame them the right way they will do their job.
