I've heard about this and apparently Apple pulled it from their site ages ago, but does someone have a link to the actual video of her. I think her name was Ellen Feiss?

The official line from her is that she showed up because a friend's father was directing the commercial. She happened to have a cold, and drank what was probably too much cough syrup. (yay OTC narcotics! :D) Hence the drugged out appearance (which I suppose is actually correct anyway.)

Does Apple still have any of the Switcher ads on their site?

That was the best one.

I wish Apple would make commercials that weren't so kooky and weird, they're never going to get people to switch if the people don't know what they're switching to.

Lol, that's funny. I remember seeing this commercial but I never really thought about it that way. I wonder if she still gets recognized for that.

Even if it was cough syrup that did it (uh huh...), I'm amazed nobody at Apple put the kibosh on that ad. ("Jesus, we can't use that...the girl looks stoned!")

I remember a switch parody video a few years back. It was pretty long if I recall and the guy is really funny and swears quite a bit. He totally bashes the computer. It is probably not that good of a description but if anyone knows what I am talking about and knows where I can find it awesome.
