stop application from loading at start up

I have this program installed called KeyAccess (or KeyServer). It is used by my college to allow me access to the licenses to a slew of software provided by the school. However, it loads at startup, and I have no idea how to prevent it from doing so. There's no option to configure it not to, I have tried looking for an entry in StartupItems and Login Items of my Accounts preferences. It is located in the Preferences Pane, its not really a standalone program.

And there is no option in its own preference pane?

What about creating an Apple or Automator script to kill the process once its loaded?

Right-click the icon of that application in the dock. Move the mouse over Options and uncheck "Open at Login"

That might not work (and I always forget about that option):

If it is a preference, then does it have an icon in the dock?

If there's no icon in the dock, you would have to uninstall or somehow disable it. I have some preferences installed and they can't be started or quit. They must be uninstalled.
