I'm trying to reinstall Leopard (v10.5.6) on my 15" MacBookPro, version 1.1.
I have a bought version of Leopard on DVD. When I put it in, and then choose to install, it starts the restart process but then ejects the disc when restarting. Pressing "C" during bootup doesn't prevent the computer from ejecting the disk. I've also tried using the StartUp utility and telling it to boot from disc - that also didn't work.
I also have Refit on my machine, I at one point had a BootCamp dualboot machine but I have already deleted that partition from my computer. If I press C during startup, the refit screen comes up but there is no option for the DVD drive.
Is there a way to solve this?
Thanks
