Stop Bluetooth Setup Assistant From Launching on Startup

Hey there,

I've bought a Mac Mini to use purely as my Media Centre (Plex) and therefore have no keyboards or mouses connected. The problem I'm running into is every time I boot I have the Bluetooth Setup Assistant come up to tell me just that, I need to keep Bluetooth on since I use my Apple Remote to control Plex.

Any suggestions?

Have you turned Bluetooth off in Systems Preferences?

Sorry! Just noted in post 1 you need it on

The Apple Remote works through IR (infrared) technology, not through Bluetooth, you can turn off Bluetooth and still use it.

Uncheck first item.
