Look, first you have to consider that AT&T has already cut off the customers because A) they are being bombarded and B) not all of the upgrades are settled in ther systems.

All you are doing is annoying AT&T, the members of this forum, and getting your blood pressure too high for nothing.

As we've seen the situation in AT&Ts systems are very fluid. Dates are changing left and right. Give it time to settle out.

If you check on the 14th and it's now what you expect, then worry about it. Until then there is really nothing you can do anyway. Just because a CSR tells you something today doesn't mean they will stick to it tomorrow anyway (come on...you KNOW how AT&T works!)

So lets sit back and discuss the new iPhone 4 features until then. Does it have 256MB RAM or 512?

Because AT&T has been bombarded w/ calls. They have now stopped accepting calls about it and are referring people to use the online or dial-in method.

Personally I think that's smart.

Too many thread on here taking up space about eligibility. And most of them are people who are no doubt NOT all that nice when calling at&t based on their incessant b*tching on here about how they feel ENTITLED to break their contract whenever they feel like it and should always be able to get the new iPhone at a fully subsidized price.

While it's great that AT&T rolls back dates for people. Part of me sincerely wishes it just kept to the terms of the original contract so no one could complain. Clearly they're interested in making sales. But at the same time, it creates a you-know-what-storm of people who think way too highly of themselves to be considered a normal customer who, in the scheme of things, isn't all that important.

People are bombarding the call centers (like when the 3gs was ready for pre-order) so much that the next complaint will be that they can't get through. Or that the website is down.

Next up - which I don't look forward to on here - will be the flood of shipping threads complaining that they don't see a shipping date. That ATT doesn't have a clue whether or not their phone will arrive on the date promised, yadda yadda.

One big freakin circle of stress on this site LOL
