Stop DVD Autoplay

How do I stop the DVD from auto playing once I start the computer? I'd even like to stop it from auto playing once I insert the dvd but I don't want to stop it from mounting the DVD or disc

Click the Apple logo on the top-left of the menu bar. Click System Preferences, then click CDs & DVDs. You can select whatever you want from the drop down next to "When you insert a video DVD".
