Stop finder from automatically reopening windows

I have a flash disk that i use a lot. because of this i need to delete the files to make more room, this means restarting finder to show invisible files. but every time i restart the finder it opens 3 folders that i don't want open. so i have to exit them every time. I also have the same issue on leopard startup and it gets really annoying.

how do i stop this

[edit] i've noticed that every time i restart finder the exact same folders always appear in recent folders.
