I mean, I think it's all great that they bundled the standard definition as well as the HD version of my TV series purchase. However, I am not all made of hard disk and downloading the SD would be a waste since I paid for HD.

My problem is, iTunes doesn't seem to want to accept that I do not wish to download the SD versions. Every time I boot iTunes, it begins downloading the lot. It even re-downloads some trailers I watched ages ago. The SD+HD versions of he trailers.

Anyway of stopping this? It's awfully annoying.

I had the same issue and called Apple. They told me the only way to fix this was to complete the downloads and then delete. She explained to me they do this in case you want to watch the video on an iPhone or iPod.
