I have never used the Mail application before but I booted it up and I like how it automatically transfers my notes from my Ipad. But I don't want it to download any of the files from my accounts. I went into the advanced tab under accounts and told it not to make copies, but I still have hundreds of e-mails on my system. Now I know they're small, I just don't want to use Mail instead of the online things. I want to use it for ical auto-reminders and this new found notes sync.

Thanks for your time!

the only thing you can try is disabling the account, but then that might stop you syncing notes

As you have told it not to make local copies it is just showing you what is on the server, not storing the mails locally
