Found on my local CL:
G4 Powerbook
Mac OS X version 10.4.11
876 MHz processor PowerPC G4
256 mb ddr sdram memory
6.7 gb available
Carry case
Fitted laptop case
Mouse
Final cut express
AC power cord
CD burner
DVD player
I may still have the box and disc with instructions for final cut express, but I do have the book for the laptop.
Asking $50.
I have a load of Mac portables from the Mac Portable to an MBA. I really don't need this. OTOH, I don't have a PB G4, and a copy of FCE with the SN has to be worth something.

Go get it! Worst case you sell the Mac to someone who wants one like me and the software to someone who needs it like me.

Naw, not for $50. You'll regret it once you turn it on. It really isn't hard to find nice 1.33 of faster PowerBooks under $100 these days. I had an 867MHz 12" PowerBook, and instantly regretted not going for a nicer one. Sold it for a 1.5 and never looked back. In fact, its what I am using right now. If you buy the high end now, you'll never have to wish you had later.

If given enough RAM they are more than usable. However, obviously a faster machine would be better.

I had this machine, and it was maxed out with 1.12GB of RAM. Usable, yes it was, but why not throw in $20 bucks and get a 1.5GHz Model? This particular deal isn't that great. It just isn't cheap enough especially considering he'll need to drop more cash on getting a 1GB stick of RAM for it. The only thing in this deal making it worthwhile is the copy of FCE.

I sent him an email to check if it had an AE card, he didn't answer yet. I wouldn't spend more than $40, that's with the case and SN for FCE.

See how low it can get! I would love to have a machine like that.
