I'm having a moment of weakness and I think i'm going to get an iPod shuffle!

I cant really afford it 'cos i've got no money, and I've just had to pay £200 to get my car back from the pound (it got towed away- Waltham Forest council, you're first against the wall come the revolution)

I vowed to get a proper iPod once i changed my job, as a wee incentive to myself, but I feel that like a zombie, i'm going to shuffle to the shop and buy a Shuffle.

Stop me!

Would love to help, but I bought mine 2 days ago and I a listening to it at work right now. I thought I would never buy one because it did not have a screen. Then I realized that I am not going to keep chosing songs all day long on a mini and would just suffle them....so guess what I bought.

Love the 12 hour battery life....keeps going and going and going...

id like to say no as well, but it really is a great little thing, especially at only $100 for the 512, which is what i got to compliment a lager iPod when i can afford it.....

the only downside to the shuffle is that it is so small and lightweight is that i am afraid of losing it

believe it or not my cousin actually sold off his 4g 40gig ipod after having the shuffle for a couple of weeks. same reasoning as before, much lighter and way easier to carry around, enough songs in it to take you throught the day.

i love my shuffle to death, but i MUST say that you should definately pay any bills and such first before buying the shuffle. i get into trouble all the time for buying something and then not having enough money to pay the bills.

Off-topic slightly: I did notice in Dixons that they sell alot of mp3 players of many different kinds. They are displayed in a glass case in all their glory, except for the iPods which are left in their boxes on the display case.

Most of the iPod copies were crud, but there was a new iRiver and an Olympus one that looked neat.

You might want to check in to getting some therapy, or buying some Tony Robbins and Billy Banks videos to toughen you up mentally and physically.

Be a man, don't get the Shuffle yet. Go pay for some of the more important things in life, like: the car, beer, and porn.

Somehow, I don't think this motivational speech will work. But I think we can probably sell him to some advertising companies for some subliminal message testing. So there's a chance some good will come out of this thread.

i'd sell you mine if you were in the u.s.....i dont feel like listing it on ebay and i dont feel like getting ripped off for selling it lower than the cost....so guess where im takin it tomorrow? yup...goin to the apple store to get a store credit instead and buy some accesories from the apple store
