Stop Photos app from creating albums

Hello all.

The photos app keeps on creating a WhatsApp album that shows photos that I have sent via or saved from WhatsApp.

Does anyone know how to stop it from automatically creating this album?

Unless there’s specific setting within the app, You can’t. That’s created by the app every time you use the feature.
