Yes it's true but they call them web apps...

A good start but not enough to convince me to buy a $500 MP3 player which COULD offer so much more but doesn't.

If apple announced applications which can run when I'm out of wifi range then I'm down to JB HiFi with $500 tommorrow.

Um… Not only are you at least 24 hours late, but I can't find any mp3 players that Apple sells that cost $500. The 16GB touch and iPhone are only $399.

Troll much?

In Australia the 16GB Ipod touch is $549. Don't get me wrong I really really want one but just can't justify that kind of money for basically an MP3 player. It could do so much more if apple released non web apps.

It just annoyed me that apple was basically just listing a bunch of web sites .
