my mac started to slow down so I looked in the activity monitor and noticed a few programs that are taking up memory. the majority of these programs are something to do with printers I rarely use and ink monitoring.

having looking in the login items in system preferences they are not listed and when you close them they just reopen themselves.

is there a way to kill these programs?

thanks
