So today set up CalDAV syncing with Google Calendar in iCal. As a result, my Google password got added to the keychain. No big deal, it’s there plenty of other times too for things like Mail, iChat, etc.

But now every time I go to a Google website, Safari asks for permission to use the password. The only autofill option I have turned on in Safari is info from my address card.

This is insecure to start with, cuz anyone on my computer can now log into my account for any Google service. And even if I go into the keychain and say to ask for my login password before giving it out, it’s still less secure, because I give some people my login password, and guard my Google one more closely. But most of all, it’s just annoying. How do I get it to stop trying to use my password?

Thanks!
