Does anyone know a way to prevent Safari's browsing history from being shared by all devices running OS 10.10 or iOS 8?
Since Yosemite Safari 8, every webpage that I visit on my iPhone's shows up in the history of my MacBook, and vice versa.
I would like to keep the browsing history separate on each device. Turning on private browsing is not a good option, as I wish to have my history recorded both on my iPhone and my MacBook, but just not shared. I also know I could use another browser, but I am used to Safari.
This is a real privacy issue between a work computer and private computer using the same iCloud account. This is why I have not upgraded my work computer to OS 10.10.
Accessing open tabs through iCloud is enough for me, I don't want the added shared browsing history.
Thanks for any advice.
