Stop Sign with Leopard Installation on MBP

A friend of mine downloaded leopard osx 10.5 off the internet, and told me it was a full version. But when i pop it in my MBP it comes up with the apple logo with the spinning loading sign at the bottom, and then the apple logo turn's into a stop sign, no disk movement no nothing just a stop sign.

I'm was wondering if anyone can tell me what the stop sign is, i've tried booting it off my external hard drive but comes up with a folder sign and a question mark in the middle

Not helping you with illegal software, and it's probably from a machine-specific disk, so if it were a real copy it still wouldn't work.

No problem. Buy a sealed copy of Leopard off of eBay; it's cheaper.
