Stop WD My Book Spin-Down Caused by Hibernate / Power Saving Mode

I have the Western Digital My Book 320GB Essential USB 2.0 External Hard Drive. I need to stop it spinning down into power saving or hibernation mode. I have seen WD have external spindown WD software for PC but I need it for OSX.
