Ok, no one knows when apple are going to release a 3g iPhone!!!

It could be this year it could be next year.

If you want an iPhone get one!!!!, stop making threads like 'should I get an iPhone or wait'

Here's the thing with technology- THERES ALWAYS SONETHING BETTER ROUND THR CORNER, if you wait for the next big thing you are always going to be dissapointed as new techhnology get brought out every week.

Only you knows 'if the iPhone is for you'!!!

/rant.!

While I agree with the sentiment of not wanting people to keep asking the same damn question when the answer is that no one knows, the issue of 3G isn't just a small step up. It's hugely significant and it's easily understandable why people might want to wait, especially when there are long term contracts involved.

if there is going to be a "stop these threads" rant, it should be about how do i unlock my iphone.... there's about 5 of those a day......

Stop with the "stop with the..." threads!

Pointless, pointless, pointless....

I have come accross NUMEROUS "3G" threads some asking or stating the same things the previous thread did...

Unlocking or jailbreaking is another one... It's full of it. Not that i have a problem with this, but when you get same questions or typical, "my iphone doesn't work after i jailbroke, what now" thread... Pretty simple, try to get a nerd to fix it, or buy a new one. You voided your warranty, now accept result.

The onces who does work. Cool! But just same space wasting questions that are easily found by using search.

Going through the FCC process takes only about six weeks. Not six months. Apple just announced it six months early to excite people to increase their revenue for when they started selling it.
