So I’ve owned 3 Apple Watches over about 6 years and used them in all weather conditions.
Today I finished my run in a pretty heavy rain shower and was unable to stop the workout as the screen and my hands were too wet. Is there a way to stop it with the buttons?
I can’t believe this is the first time it’s happened to me.

You can push the two side buttons together and that pauses the workout. No way to stop it with buttons as far as I know.

Siri doesn’t work without internet though does it?
You are correct and I just confirmed that on Apple support. For years I’ve left my phone at home and used Siri to begin, pause, and end outdoor cycle workouts, but never realized (or forgot) it was another benefit of having cellular.
