Stopping an application from auto closing

Ok im just wondering but whenever i try to open an application like minecraft it closes so i look in console and this came up...

How exactly could I stop that from happening please help..

something wrong with the application:

Error Code 143
System error code 143 means "The system cannot join or substitute a drive to or for a directory on the same drive." This error code may also display as "ERROR_SAME_DRIVE" or as the value 0x8F.

Something is wrong with the setup. What version of osx are you running? what hardware? has this worked in the past? etc.
