I am getting so sick of every web site putting up auto-play videos. I've tried everything in Safari, using Click to Flash, etc but they are getting harder and harder to stop. It pisses me off every time one of these damn things starts playing.

I've tried FireFox and Chrome, and they can't block them either from what I've found.

I would pay $20-$30 for a working extension to Safari that could reliably block ALL of these stupid auto-play videos.

Is there anything out there, or any hope on the horizon for a solution to this madness?

I've tried uBlock and it won't stop the HTML5 type auto-play videos, at least not on Safari. Does it truly stop all of the auto play videos in Chrome?

Nothing auto plays on my chrome.
I also run ghostery and privacy badger on my chrome client.
