stopping finder during preparing to copy, accidently tried to move 115gb through usb

how do you stop the finder during its preparing to copy mode.

i accidentally moved 115 gb (thought it was a smaller one) from a usb drive and i can not stop it.

i guess you could force quit finder if nothing else.
