Stops working for 30 seconds

Hi

Sorry, I don't know where this post should go, but I'm using an Early 2011 15" MBP (2,2 ghz) and when I'm gaming (Portal 2 recently), the game will stop for 30 seconds, then start again, with the sound gone for an additional 10 seconds.
Has anyone else experienced this?
