Hi there,
After having certain storage issues in the past, I've used this forum for some great solutions, including installing Omni Disk Sweeper and erasing certain unnecessary files. However, after I transferred some large files to my external hardrive, my Macbook Air started reacting strangely, forcing me to quit certain programs etc.

I used Omni Disk Sweeper to try and find out where this 'other' storage is located, but the program doesn't even seem to detect the apparent 59GB of other date that my system information tells me that I have. At most, there's 38GB there (28GB coming solely from my var file - anyone know if I can do anything about that?)

Just wondering if anyone has any insight into how I can rectify this problem? Thanks a lot!
