This is a weird bug that I've had since the new storage manager was introduced. It shows (accurately) that I have around 50 GB available. However, the breakdown of storage use is messed up. It shows that I have around 120 GB of Documents, 100 GB of Photos and some other stuff. The weird thing is that I only have 20 GB of Documents; the other 100 GB are from my Photos library (which is synced with iCloud, but fully stored locally).
So, for some reason, macOS counts the storage of photo library both in Documents and in Photos. It's nothing serious, as I can use my available storage just fine, but I find it weird, and makes the storage manager kind of useless.
Is this happening to anybody else? Any idea of how to fix it?
