I noticed that the Settings -> Storage never finished Calculating anything besides Documents and MacOS. I tried rebooting and it did the same thing. I have a few SSDs connected (one got Time Machine and another for storage) so I decided to unmount them and then Storage calculates in less than 5 seconds. When I reconnected the Time Machine SSD it still worked. When I connected the other SSD it again got stuck Calculating.
The SSD is 4 TB and APFS formatted with 2 volumes: 1 is Case-sensitive and the other case-insensitive. It works, but has a lot of files on it as it only has 1 TB free. I wouldn't think an external drive would factor into the calculations for storage though, especially since the activity light doesn't blink on it when the Storage settings is open.
Does anyone else have an issue with Storage never calculating with external storage mounted?
