Hi

My Macbook Air is constantly telling me that my startup disk is full even though I have basically deleted all music, photos and apps. When I look at the stats, it tells me that of the 120gb of storage, 118gb (!!!) is 'other'.

I have downloaded dr. cleaner and other free apps to try and resolve this issue, to no avail.

Please can someone tell me what is happening?!

Thanks
Frances

Run this command in Terminal, then give it a couple minutes to finish and tell us the results. This will show all the base folders including hidden and system folders, and how much space each is using.

Code:
sudo du -d 1 -x -c -g /
