Storage Problem

Just got a new External HDD, after transferring the vast majority of my movies, around 10gb, onto it and then deleting them from the SSD, i noticed that I hadn't regained the space. I have emptied the trash

Any ideas?

To find out, where you storage capacity is being used, you can use the following free applications:

• DiskInventory X
• OmniDiskSweeper
• JDisk Report
• GrandPerspective

Maybe try a combination of several, if you still can't find the "missing" capacity.
