Store email on server or "on my computer" - Outlook for Mac 2011

I have exchange email with no limit on server space...I also have 100k plus emails that are separated by folder....i know storing on my computer is risky but doesnt storing them on the server severely slow down Outlook performance?

Depends on your connection to the server and the configuration on the server. Most of the time, your emails being stored on the server is a good thing.
