I don't like the store being shown in my iTunes sidebar, but suddenly I have an issue.

With the checkbox in the Parental preferences to disable the store ticked, the word STORE is still shown. I have unticked and re-ticked, and tried deleting com.apple.iTunes.plist. This has survived a system restart and repairing disk permissions.

I have not recently changed anything, and don't have iTunes plug-ins or hacks.

I can confirm it's not normal behaviour, mine goes away when I tick the parental option.

Try hitting it, my boss always does that. Though it doesn't seem to help her much.

Mine is always there and always was.

Somehow this survived a fresh install and the 10.5.3 combo update

iTunes 8 can't come soon enough.
