I just found that out, too. However, I was hoping that I wouldn't be paying for the iPad until I came to pick it up or even the day prior. Unfortunately, it's an instant thing, at least at the store I will be going to. I guess I will be waiting in line. I hope that it's released in the afternoon and not the morning.
I'd still rather have it shipped.
1) No crowds, lines, driving, and parking to deal with.

That and my EPP discount that Apple Retail refuses to honor on launch days made it where I saved $50 on my 16gb wifi model online.
