For those who didn't get in on the first wave, don't give up! If u can get a reservation tomorrow I'm sure they reserved a watch for you on April 24

I hope so thanks to apple I could not pre-order for instore pickup as I won't in town during that weekend. I am heading there asap first thing in the morning.

Don't bet on this - people who have been in store have been directed to online store to order watch - so your delivery date will be the same as if you order directly from web store.... i.e June at earliest now

Agree with ramit - even apple staff are claiming to have to wait until June

well I was looking for the Reserve and Pickup option but it was not there and the ship dates are much earlier for the SS model.

Confirmed in the uk. You have to pre-order online, reservation or not, so get to the back of the line

In the US they are supposed to offer a service called Reserve and Pickup where you reserve the watch and on the 24th you go pick it up and pay. This service is supposed to replace the ship to store option.

This! Got my pre-orderin for shipping in May but will cancel it the second I'm able to book an in store purchase....Guess I'll find out at 1015 this morning.

the earliest appointment I could get is 1:15 and that is after the site crashing multiple times for the appointment part. I am going in first thing in the morning and waiting in line to find out what up with the reserve and pickup.

I wasted time looking for that option and now got bumped to May. I have a reservation for today, so I can only hope it's true.

Trust me it's not. I had a pre-order and changed my mind whilst in store in the appointment. I used to WORK in that store and was directed to the online store to re-order my watch. I even found out the STAFF don't get anything special and is coming in June so don't hold your breath

You're not in the US..... Our Apple site said something different before orders were up than other countries.

It specifically said you could order and they'll "have it waiting" for you.

I have an 11:45 appointment, but I already ordered at 3am. 38mm space grey aluminum. I'd rather do in store pickup, but I want to try it on at least.

In the email it says they. Direct you to order online. And I'm in the U.S. also. So I'm sure it's online only.

Will be interested to hear back from people who have actually been at US store appointments today.

From the Specialists I know have been telling me, their online store reflected the delivery estimates the rest of us were getting.

June delivery is a joke.

went yesterday, was told all sold out until June.

I asked if there's special stock if I order in store. and i was directed to order online... (again... until June)

They changed it last minute . That's why everyone was all mad. There was a memo that said you could then literally hours before they said absolutely no in store pickup at launch, and I'm in the USA. There are even articles about it if you google

lol the one issue I have about Apple is that owning their products seem to give their owners some misunderstanding about how economics and normal sales etiquette works.

If you want it, EVERYONE wants it.

There is plenty of information around the internet and this launch is no different with Apple changing it up/being agile all the way up to pre-order time. I remember noting how the option for personal pickup was greyed out during the mad 3:02 - 3:11 AM rush but that I had expected that from Apple and just proceeding on through to shipping.

Worry about 'being home' on your own time LOL; you want the latest Apple precious? YOU make time for being at home. :apple:

There is no special treatment or words to say at the store that will change the truth: Apple was only able to supply X watches April 24th to May 30 and if you are not in line to order you must wait till at least after May 30th for yours.

...or just schedule pickup from a UPS / FedEx location at your convenience when you get your tracking number. It's not that difficult; you don't NEED to make time to be home.
